Super Kid Lecy

Alicia was awarded super kid for Novemeber. The award for well being super! lol . Its a big deal because the parents are invited to the assembly. Then the following tuesday the school puts on a special morning tea for the super kids of the month. Good JOb Alicia

sick little tyler Nov 2011

So tyler came home sick real sick and we so glad to be able to take him to the doctors straight away. The doc said he had tonsilitis and gave him antibiotics. He wasnt getting any better and Hans wanted a second opinion (good dad) so took him again and found out he had glandular fever after getting a gross pee sample (hans was very amazed of) but ill spare us the pic it was very dark and yukand well anyways he had to go to hospital. He was sick no energy for quite a while and ended up not going back to preschool for a few weeks and missing out on going back to baseball. we had not seen him like this ever tyler ALWAYS normaly has alot of energy. But for quite a week or so he was asleep by the afternoon. It didnt help he then got a stomach bug too...Not a great month for Tyler .

Halloween

So we had Halloween by chance. As we were stranded in L.a due to qantas strike. Lucky we have great friends like the Kings who let us stay with them for a few nights. huge blessing as Tyler got pretty sick the day we left Minnesota and needed rest and a home. So anyway back to halloween since we were in the u.s.a we thought we better do halloween even though it was literally 1 hour before we had to leave for the airport that night to go home. Eliza was Tangled and Lecy was Barbie Charm School. Tyler was frankenstein and that green face is literally how he felt that night. Moments before we went trick or treating Hans and Allen king gave him a blessing and i know that is the only way tyler was able to make it through that plane ride home.
Anyway back to Halloween, Kelly was nice enough to take the kids through their neighbourhoood . Alicia was pretty nervous , Eliza was up for the challenge and was adored by the people at the door with that long blonde hair. Funny story there was this huge dog sitting out the front of this house with its owner, we thought he would stay with him..well as we were walking upt he stairs to the door this big fat old dog goes up the stairs and Alicia freaks out and runs in this ladies house knocking over all these decorations on the stairs . It was so funny well now it is, then the only way we could get her out was kelly practically holding her ..poor kelly. The that was pretty much the end of our night we had to go to the airport. The kids still had about 3/4 of bag full of candy in just that little time they were so happy.

Minnesota apple orchards oct 2011

 

Very fun day at the orchards. Loved the hay ride and picking our own apples. Alicia loved watching the sorting of the apples too.

Alicias Baptism Day

It was a very special day for Alicia to be baptized in Minnesota where she was born and with all her minnesotan cousins and grandparents.
I think she waS a little nervous as she umm kind of had some moments that day.

But when the momemnt finally came for you to be baptized i could tell you felt at peace and the spirit of such a beautiful experience to be baptized by your daddy.

Alicia had ot be baptized twice as she kicked her foot up lol but she likes that she has a funny story about her baptism.
Alicia chose her nema and tepa for the talks , ethan shared his beautiful testimony and sweet sweet charlotte said the prayer so confident.
It was really special to be with all our minnestoa family and see hans confirm his little girl with his dad, brother and brother in laws. (Except Jason who stayed home with sick little ande). We are so blessed to have such a great family and so glad we made it to be with them all for Alicias Baptism.
