Disney On Ice

Hans Suprised us with tickets he got from work to Disney on Ice this week. It was a fun day Eliza dressed up as cinderella and Alicia dressed up as The little mermaid. Tyler was not looking forward too much to going because of all the princesses and girl stuff and no monsters...so he made sure he brought his light saber with him for the boys.

The naughty and loud little princess Eliza
Eliza and hans missed alot of the show because she was loud and kept saying dad dad dad dad and crying when she couldnt get down...so hans walked the halls with her.

Alicias eyes were glued to the show the whole time and tyler well he was trying to figure out how to get his seat to stay down most of the first half ...it was one of those seats that flip up when your not on them properly.

Alicia loved the show and her favourite princess was sleeping beauty because she is so pretty and cinderellas carriage and when the little mermaid became human.Tyler actually ended up enjoying the second half when the dragon from sleeping beauty came out and got his head cut off. He also really liked goofy (go figure mr goofy himself) and said he wanted to dress up just like goofy.
I loved it... thanks hans for taking us

Our Junior Masterchef Day

We have been watching "Masterchef " for the past few weeks and alicia really really likes it. So i told her we could have a little masterchef day with one of her friends and cousins. So Friday alicia asked havannah over and sophia...our other cousins were still sick.
So we started off by the kids making there own chef hats out of my scrapbook papers.... Then the menu was pigs in blankets and cupcakes with piped icing and sprinkles.
They had a fun afternoon and were so hyper and giggly from all the sugar and food coloring. These Junior Masterchefs just need to learn how to do the dishes now..the kitchen was so so messy. It was a good afternoon and end to the school holidays.

Tyler concentrating on his pipingSome for the cupcake and some for me....nobody wanted the blue icing after tylerSophia went a little crazy on the sprinklesThe minichefs enjoying there masterpeices.

The race

It was a beautiful warm winter day today ...the kids played outside all day and loved it. Alicia being the oldest always seems to be the one with the ideas, so her idea today was to have a race on there bikes down the side of our house . They looked so cute all lined up even if eliza didnt know what was going on. After a few times up and down the strip doing there own thing, alicia said" tyler you can be the winner". "Ready set go when my bell rings" alicia saidEliza was in the lead with her no hands tricksThen it turned into more of a stroll then a race...meanwhile eliza trying to steal whatever tyler had in the back of his bike. The bike riders:Tough Eliza

Bossy but sweet aliciaGoofy and the winner (because his sister said so) TylerLecy said "me and tyler just wore out eliza she just parked her bike and fell asleep on the floor just like that"

scrapbook weekend away

Tylers displaying hands

So my wonderful husband let me go away with my friends for the weekend "KIDFREE" for our now annual scrapbooking weekend away. It was such a nice break and although i only got two hours sleep the whole weekend, i did manage to get 20 pages done. Next year i will try not to stay up all night as it takes two days to recover when i get home. The kids had a great time with just there dad too and they welcomed me home with balloons every where and there giggly little selfs at the door. Hans thanks for being so great and giving me this weekend away love you.oops forgot to rotate that one.
