Icy pole time

The three oldest kids were outside eating icy poles and Levi was inside standing against the door crying to be iwht the kids and to have what they were having too i think.
So i sat him outside with the laughing kids and gave him an icypole too, half of it went on the ground but he was happy. I love these moments when the kis are not all fighting and dobbing but having fun together.

So this week we haev had a few medicines and potions in the house.Eliza has been
taking antibiotics and epilim morning and night, Alicia unfortunately got nits. So wedensday she had this poisonous treatment in her hair ...yuk ihate nits, she only had one live one and a few eggs ...still gross . Anyways so i lost the lid to the treatment looked everywhere then thought i must of thrown it in bin. Well watching tv that night Levi was playing on floor and i see he has lid in his hands. Levi puts everything in his mouth so im panicking he has been sucking on this lid of poison. hans say scall poison control..i do its all ok they think im a fruit loop i think,
Then today i noticed in the fridge antibiotics pennicyllin we had for tyler but didnt use and wasnt expired. Anyways it was opened in fridge with lid off. Then i see elizas face and she has this funny yellow ring above her top lip. So iasked her if she was drinking the medicine and of course she laughs..then says yes. She had drunk half the bottle . Well since eliza is eliza and we cant take risks with her . Once again i call poison control they said " she might have a sore tummy and throw up and should drink some water. lol only eliza right would sneak into the fridge to swig on on a medicine bottle. I have double checked all the other medicines to make sure the safety seal is on and am very glad i caught her when i did she would of kept drinking it obviously liked the flavour :)

10 Month old Levi standing on his own for 10 seconds( or more)

Levi has 2 bottom teeth now and the top two are trying to break through. He is a little adventurer crawling under tables , chairs, in the fridge,in the blinds, closes doors behind him and then cries becasue he locked himself in. Great eater would much rather what we re eating then anything from a jar.
Has just learnt to wave and point and sometimes sounds like he is saying taa but it comes out caar.
Just this last week or maybe two he has started standing on his own, he is so cute will stand then look for someone to cheer him on.
He loves to put nemas blanket over his head and play peek a boo with us. except he pulls the blankie over his head and has a very delayed "abu" then pulls blankie off ..still cute
He just loves loves hans when he hears the front door open
in the afternoon he crawls as fast as he can to him with a big smile on his face.
he is such a cute kids we love him to bits and dont want him to grow up too fast , he is so cuddly and beautiful.
that last photo is oatmeal all over him it looks kinda gross i know...he had stolen annies and elizas cereal from them..sitting up high in his bumbo chair lol

Garmmy real birthday

We went for the long drive to moniques house ok less than an hour. The older kids were at school so it was annie,lucia,levi and xavier.

What another date for us

Hans came home last week and said can u get a babysitter for next week and we can go to Tim mcgraw and faith hills concert. Hans gets free tickets and dinner for the tnt suite so of course i wanted to go. I somehow talked our friends kylie and richard into watching all 4 of our kids ..well i said i wil make your dinner if you take my 4 kids for the night... it worked.
our dinner was nice and it was great to be able to eat without sharing with levi. The supporting act was ummm something eli i cant remember but they were really good too.
We loved the concert i didnt know alot of tim mcgraws songs but still had a great time and now we have come home and downloaded a few to our playlists the kids love listening to them with us too. They are such a cute couple i didnt want the concert to end . Thanks for taking me hans it was good to have another date this month and free too. lol.

Grammys fake Birthday

grammys birthday well fake birthday as hans calls it...her real birthday is thursday, and we normally go for a walk a long walk normally, but this time we all went to cronulla had a nice picnic lunch and then kids went for a swim and played in sand.Levi and Delilah were mostly chilling in their strollers not too social with each other. Alicia, Lily, crick,tyler and sophia loved it in the pool. While Xavier,elijah and eliza are sand and beach babies beautiful weather it was a really nice day. I didnt get any group pics too busy now with 4 kids to capture all the moments. But i can always get a photo of mum looking out on the scenery ,this time ocean contemplating life . Happy birthday mum we love you

Elizas Hospital visit March 18th

So as i said in the wedding post Eliza had a convulsion on sat while we were at wedding. Well the next morning she had a nother convulsion this time in the shower...scary she hasnt done that before. So we did what we always do give her some medecine and keep watching her temp. Which seemed fine in the day until about 3 in the afternoon when she had another convulsion this time on the couch but had a fever of 40 . We called the ambulance this time and they took her to hospital as this was her 23rd convulsion and no other syptoms of sickness. Hans went with her as he is better in emergency then me and i stayed home with the kids....but i dont sleep while he is gone and stayed up getting all the clothes for school and work ready and house organised incasaae i was to go to hosptial with eliza the next night. Well eliza had another convulsion as she entered the ward and then another the next day when i was there with her. She had never had her convulsions in hopsital before i really felt the lords hand while we were in hospital as we were not at our usual hopsital with our normal paed and the doctor seeing eliza in hopsital took her convulsions seriously and thought it was time she go on epilepsy medecine. we were a little hesitant but wanted to get her some help more then just oain relief medecine to bring her fever down. So after she started this medecine her temp reached 40 again and she did not convulse. I know it also helped that they foudn she had a uti and was now on antibiotics. Hospital for eliza this time was harder as she is older and just wanted to go home and play. She was so happy when aunty maree came with annie , lucia and grammy to visit and waited for the end of the day when dad would come with the kids. Also thanks to technology well when we had service in the hospital , she loved hearing messages from all our family in minnesota especially grandpas voice message song for Eliza Jane...she listened to that over and over and over again ...pretty sure the nurses had it in their heads by the end of her stay.
Since being home Eliza isback to her normal cheeky fun self a little extra naughty but who wouldnt be after being couped up in the hosptial for so long. She is taking her medecine morning and night and we will go see her paed in a few weeks for review and plan.
Thankyou to all our friends and families prayers while eliza was in hospital. we love you all.

Nats wedding

March 17th hans and i went to my bestie Anges sisters wedding. It was a very formal wedding at a beautiful castle. Natalie and bridesmaids looked very kardashian lol. Ange had quite the job as maid of honour helping nat with her train it was soooo long and heavy .
We had a great time together and sat at a table with my friends from highschool i had not seen in about 10 or more years .. apparently we have all changed, it was pretty funny being together as grown ups this time. It was a good excuse to get all dressed up and have no kids for the night. I like these pics of me and hans we look so stress free. Even though we had just had a call from dad as the ceremony started that eliza had another febrile convulsion. we knew she was in good hands and felt ok about staying for most of the reception...well we left abit early what parent doesnt worry right.
apart from that we had a great night and the food was soooooo good too lol.

Levi 9 months Feb 2012

so this is what happens when mum is trying to do much in the mornings and leaves an opened yoghurt in Levis reach . He had yoghurt everywhere..i think next time he might wait for me.

Hans is very thougtful and suprised me with these beautiful flowers. He noticed i had been abit down and was worreid about dentist surgery ill probably have to have soon and other things. These beautiful flowers made my day and made me feel loved ( even though i always knew it), its nice to be reminded . reminded me how blessed i am to have such a thoughtful wonderful husband and beautiful family. The other things i was down about didnt matter . Thanks hans

Eliza Janes sweet shoppe 4th Birthday Party Feb 18th 2012

Eliza 4 yrs old hard to believe. We wanted her to have a party this year with her friends as the last few years i have not been so great with her birthdays. So i went all out ,but on a budget. Pinterest is great for that to get ideas and also my talented friend once again kylie. Kylie made the beautiful table cloth and lolly bean bags and was there for the shopping to find the right colour candies. Oh and was up in the night befroe the party with me finishing the cake and last details liek the candy buttons. Maree was there the day before making the oreos and helping out. Well eliza had a great tiem and felt special im pretty sure. Every child loved all the lollys and that they could help themselves who wouldnt right. Eliza was as sweet and cheeky as can be. You keep us all smling and laughing in our home .

back to school for lecy and last year of preschool for eliza

Alicia is in yr 3 this year senior primary school. she has two teachers this year and one is the technology teacher on thursday and fridays. She is really happy about this as she loves working on the computer. Most of all alicia was happpy to be in the same class as her bestie Nikolla.
Eliza had to wait til thursday to start preschool and was so so excited to go back. She has a very small class but also is happy ot be with her bestie Annie. We are just hoping they start playing with soem of the other kids there this year. 3 kids at school on thursday and friday i am home with just Levi its very quiet but nice ot have some me time while he is asleep and actually feel like i get something accomplished at home too.
