Back to School and pre-school

Alicia started school on Monday and was so excited to go back , even though it was soooooooooooooo hot she wanted to see her friends again. My big yr 2 girl looked so cute in her uniform , i had to french braid her hair 3 times before she was happy with no bumps (i only did it because it was her first day) I just cant braid as good as Nema. We made it to school ontime and Happy so thats a good start for the year.

Tyler had to wait all the way to Friday to start pre-school i think that was kinda hard for him, so today when it finally came around he was sooooooooooooo happy and ready to go. Was dressed ontime and even though he had toothpaste down the front of him it was ok beacause he had both shoes on...we sometimes struggle to have him wearing shoes when we are ready to leave the house. When we got to pre-school he was off no goodbyes for mum but thats ok .

Hans had given the kids fathers blessings to start there year which they loved and felt special on their first days. When hans asked Tyler his full name tyler said "Tyler Bear" it was so cute .

So Alicia is at school yr 2, Tyler has 2 days of pre-school now and Eliza has one day . I have felt like i was running a marathon with all the different times and pick ups and places but once we all get back into routine it will be nice to have time for myself kind of til baby 4 comes.

Australia Day

Australia Day this year we had plans spending it outside at sydney olympic park. We forgot the Big day out was on so it was all closed off for that. The weather predicted was 41 degrees so we decided to go to Sydney Aquatic centre along with the rest of sydney it seemed. We lined up for about 20 mins and then walked inside to people EVERYWHERE . Maree and pabs and the kids were going there too so it was fun for all the kdis to play together . It wore the kids out Eliza was asleep before we left the parking lot. We needed Tepa there to catch Eliza jumping int he pool ..she has no fear .

Tylers christmas preschool concert

Tyler did a great job at his concert , he is so full of excitement and giggles. It was really fun to watch .
It was really cute how he stood up when santa came in the room and went up to him and gave him hugs.

Christmas lights at the temple

Carols at the temple was cancelled this year due to rain. We still had fun walking around the temple grounds looking at the lights..well not really walking more like running chasing the kids especially Eliza who was touching all the lights and picking the flowers. Fun night the temple grounds looked beautiful.

FHE AND CHRISTMAS IN OUR HOME THIS YEAR.

Family home evening this week we made snowflakes so we could add something to our tree that reminded us of our family in minnesota and Utah that we love so much. We have told the kids about all the snow you had in Mn and they have been pretty excited to see pics . We had fun making the snowflakes a little trouble getting those snowballs to stick, especially as we were in the heat outside :) but still fun. Then we finished off with rootbeer floats for our treats yum.
Our tree this year has more crafty decorations from the kids and i dont know if you can see but none of the good baubles are on the bottom as Eliza likes to pull them off and bowl them down the hallway.
Alicias tree topper is kinda different to what we are used to seeing her head at the top of the tree but she is proud of her craft and Tyler well he came home with this decoration from pre-school and i hung it as a stocking..but he told me it was a reindeer...oops.
Christmas just gets better and better as the kids get older and have so much excitement.
