Tyler and Daddy's superhero SATURDAY

Tyler had been waiting and waiting for this day to come...everyday that week he would say" When is it superhero saturday how long" . Finally saturday came Tyler has never got dressed and cleaned his teeth so fast then that morning. The day started off with a movie date to see "How to train your dragon" or "hiccups dragon " thats what tyler said .  Anyways he was so excited to wear 3d glasses and came home wearing them still holding his popcorn to show his sisters. I asked Tyler what the movie was about and he said " aar just dragons and stuff  and it wasnt even scary".

Next it was off to Toys r us for Super Hero SATURDAY , where Iron man was going to come and visit.  They made Transformer masks, playdough superheros and paraded around toys r us all dressed up . Then Iron man came and all the kids faces lit up and this is how tyler told me about Iron man : " Some people said Iron man was dressed up ...but he wasnt , it really was the real real one but he didnt have the power in his hands,  cause all the round yellow things on him were protecting his powers but not on his eyes..if there were some on his eyes he couldnt see and you couldnt see his eyes cause his yellow face was covering his eyes". Iron man was so funny and naughty too and he took things and put them behind him and he took kids crowns and put them on his head

            ...but he was everyones friend and it was fun to chase him yeah and i was so so fast chasing him ,  then he was being really silly and

it was so so funny.

  

After superhero time hans and tyler went to lunch and got their hair cut together..Tyler just loves his daddy.

Grammy annual birthday walk

Every year mum and the family go on a walk usually near the water for her birthday.  This year we went near stanwell tops .  It was a good walk not to far for prego maree to go this year as she has only a few weeks til baby #3 is born.  The weather was great not to hot or cold, the kids did great.

Kate and nath tricked a few of us and told us they saw a shark.....yeah they had us all looking..except for Pabs and Hans. After the walk we went to stanwell tops for a picnic lunch, it was so relaxing the kids played, the adults slept...apart from the responsible ones (like myself) hahaha who had to watcht he kids...jk . 

Alicia ended up pushing sophia back half the way..they were laughing so much. Eliza was chasing cockatoos (in the tree)

Easter at Grammy and Papas house

Elijan and kate did well. Annie and Sophia were there too, just inisde.
Eliza looked like a little bunny in her pjs and ears.



We went to grammy and Papas for easter dinner.  It was a nice night with the family, there was a unexpected easter egg hunt for the kids that was lots of fun.  Even if it was at night in their pj's.  Maree had  downloaded a few clips off you tube we all watched of Jesus Christ.  Bringing back the real meaning of easter for the family.  It was special to watch the cousins sit all together watching and pointing out different parts of our saviors life and the easter story to each other.  They knew alot more then we all thought. Except elijah....but he doesnt talk yet or walk ...so give him a yr or two he will be with them. 

 Then somehow it ended up to a big gospel discussion with my dad and the son in laws and  next thing we knew there were books coming out of dads gospel library scriptures being looked up on iphones , questions being asked about who gets all dad books when he dies (you know the ones we mean wayne and monique ;). I fell asleep so im not sure what how the discussion ended,anyways it was a great family night and not too much chocolate.....really...ok maybe there was a lot and the kids were all nuts by the end of the night, but still good times...We just missed the wayne and mon and the kids.

Easter at our house

Easter Morning was a early one, the kids woke up to the easter bunny trail of eggs in the Hallway and couldnt wait to come in and tell us.  It was only 6.30 and i really really wanted more sleep, but what kind of parents would we be sending the kids back to bed easter morning. We had early church so it was good to be up, the kids ate oatmeal from there new breakfast sets and we got ready for church...only eating one easter egg and their pez candy (as i found out later from the wrappers on their beds.) The easter bunny learnt from last year, not to leave too much chocolate in the morning.

Well except for Eliza who managed to sneak her basket and more chocolate while we were getting ready.

When we came home from church alicia and Eliza played with there new bubbles while tyler slept.

I t was cute to watch Eliza try to copy Alicia ....she didnt quite get it, then she got bubbles in her eyes and didnt want to play anymore

After Tyler woke up the Easter egg hunt was on...Some were harder to find then others.

Especially this one, the last one.  It was so funny we kept saying "Tyler its going to bite you" and he would jump and then "Alicia its going to hit you on the head.  They couldnt find it, it was so funny....until tyler stood back abit and looked really really hard and found it.

Alicias Easter Hat Parade

The last week of school in April was a busy one, we had Tylers pre-school concert (which i will post next). Also alicias easter hat parade, this was different to all her other hat parades.  This time she made the hat at home instead of school.  So we made one the previous week...well next year we wont make it so early . Two days later it had been destroyed by our terrible 2 in the house.   So i was up the night before the parade gluing feathers and using bunny puppets andrepairing, this is what we came up with. Alicia loved it.

Terrible 2's are here

 No they are not really drinking pepsi. Instead they got the empty pepsi cans waiting to go to recycle, and filled them with water from the teapot..saying it is pepsi...not a good habit to start, they will end up like there mum (and grandmas)Guilty as she looks, getting into the dessert while we are putting the oldest two to bed.

               Alicia left her buspass and lip gloss at home..  it did not take eliza long to find it. Eliza likes to climb on the kitchen table...this time she pushed my friut dish off and broke it. I get mad at her and tell her no and she says while she's crying" otaaay"  

Thank goodness we got her a reversible quilt cover for her birthday....she got make-up on the other side. You can kind of see the blue patch but not really ..it was alicias princess lipstick ring from santa....what was santa thinking?????

       Into my make-up and bag anytime she can...once i went to the store and my wallet was in my bag...but none of my cards or money, eliza had pulled them all out and they were under my bed....that was embarassing at the checkout.

But then there are those moments when it has been quiet and you think "oh no what mischief is she up to again" But then i walk into her room and she has put herself to sleep.  Love those moments....i mean loved that moment it has never happen again :)
